North Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, LLC is excited to introduce Tom Runyon, Director of Respiratory Therapy.  Tom will be providing full time Respiratory therapy services Monday-Friday.  In addition to Tom, there will be respiratory services available on the weekends as well.

Things to Know About Tom

Tom is a Registered Respiratory Therapist and Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist.  As a child growing up with childhood asthma, he became interested in the field of Respiratory Therapy after many trips to the hospital to manage his asthma.

Tom graduated from the Respiratory Therapy Program at Wallace State Community College in 1990 while working as a therapist at Northport Medical Center in Northport, Alabama and subsequently obtained his credentials from the National Board for Respiratory Care.  While at Northport, he served in many roles including staff therapist, special procedures technologist, supervisor, education coordinator, and finally assistant manager where he was responsible for the day to day operations of the department.

Later on, Tom moved to Trinity Medical Center as a night shift supervisor wishing to move back to care at the bedside.  Prior to his current role at Noth Hill, he served as a staff therapist at Brookwood Medical Center.  Tom has over 25 years experience in the field of Respiratory Therapy in virtually all areas of care and looks forward to bringing his experience and knowledge to the exceptional team at North Hill.
